Solution
- An application utilizing virtual reality with the aim of providing the user with the most realistic experience of safe mast work. The application guides the user through the steps of climbing a mast and instructs on the use of necessary safety and work tools. Through VR glasses, the user genuinely experiences emotions and movements as if actually climbing a mast in a real situation. The application also includes functional exercises, such as the climbing part, where climbing is done based on the user's hand movements.
"Climbing the mast virtually was a truly interesting and inspiring experience. Admiring the scenery from the mast, the height and view felt very real. I see a lot of versatile potential in virtual reality, and especially hope that we can use it to bring a new and more interesting perspective to the development of occupational safety."
